Git along, little doggies, this time on The Children’s Hour, we’re going to the rodeo! It’s not just about horses and cattle, competitive rodeo is physically and mentally challenging. Riders must stay calm, while keeping control over their horse, and performing with an audience. We find out about the different events in rodeo, and how kids can get involved in this podcast for kids about rodeo. 

Our guest, Gabby Coughlin has been competing at rodeos since she was a small child. She takes us through the different types of rodeo competitions, and the excitement of being a rodeo kid.

Then Airdrie from our Kids Crew speaks with Keelin Faulkner, a 14 year old rodeo competitor from Chama, New Mexico. We learn what Keelin likes to do at the rodeo, and how he works hard to train for the competitions.
