Love is something we all feel, but it can mean many different things. On this episode of The Children’s Hour, we celebrate love in all its forms. Love between friends, families, pets, neighbors, and even love for music, art, and the world around us. This special Valentine’s Day show is our love letter to every listener.
On the show, we learn where Valentine’s Day comes from and why people exchange cards in February. We travel back to ancient Rome to learn about St. Valentine and the history behind the holiday. Then we explore the science of love and discover what happens inside our bodies when we care deeply about someone. From racing hearts to happy feelings, love is powered by amazing chemicals in our brains.
We also learn that love is not only about romance. Love helps build strong communities and makes the world a kinder place. Whether it is caring for friends, showing respect to neighbors, or loving who you are, love connects us all. This episode is filled with joyful music, thoughtful stories, and messages that remind kids they are valued just as they are.
