We make children’s radio broadcasts that enhance any public radio station schedule with educational and entertaining programming. Especially during this time when students are engaged in home-based learning, stations have an opportunity to support families and kids by airing our high-quality educational broadcasts.
The Children’s Hour is carried on nearly 100 stations across the United States and Canada. There is no cost to air the show, and each episode has breaks at 20:00 and 40:00 for a station’s own sponsorship messages.
Public radio stations can get the program from PRX, Pacifica’s Audioport, or we offer direct distribution. Stations can choose 58 or 54-minute programs, with corresponding 15 or 30-second promotional spots.
Do you wish your public radio station aired The Children’s Hour? Reach out to them and ask, and let us know so we can follow up with the station. The Children’s Hour brings a new generation to public radio while retaining stations’ existing listeners.
